The project will increase and improve capacity of Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre as the only sexual assault Centre in the region to support and prevent cases of human trafficking. By conclusion the project will increase reporting of trafficking, increase services, and increase awareness and prevention education that will eventually contribute to lowering incidents of trafficking in the Peterborough surrounding areas.
