The Mush Kow Zee Ikwe Empowerment Project - Strong Woman is a community-based project geared to young Indigenous female and non-binary people at-risk of sexual exploitation, being sex-trafficked, becoming involved in the justice system, and/or living in poverty. Grounded in a strength-based empowerment framework and an organizational philosophy of “Culture as Prevention”.
