Funded policing services are responsible to the needs and cultures of the First
Nation and Inuit communities they serve:

  • By establishing a cultural committee, providing training to staff and the board, and creating sustainable models for incorporating cultural practices, this expected outcome that policing services will be delivered in a manner respective of the cultures of the First Nations and Inuit communities they serve.

  • People living in First nation and Inuit communities feel safe:

  • By developing strategic plans and conducting gaps analyses of policing services, modernizing the service's technology, and appointing a project manager to ensure the success of the project, the outcomes of this project would enhance policing services and support people living in First Nation and Inuit communities feel safe.
