Public Safety Canada is to provide one-time funding to the Conseil de la Première Nation des Innus de Pakua Shipi to support the purchase of policing equipment and supplies. Officers of the Pakua Shipi Police Service will have access to essential and necessary resources in order to perform their duties safely and efficiently and they will be better equipped to ensure the safety of the community in which they work.
