This project supports the development of a policing needs assessment for the Wabaseemoong community, that would support the community in assessing the establishment police services in the community that are responsive to their needs and cultures.

Funding this agreement would support the Wabaseemoong community by enabling them to determine their policing needs and choosing a First Nations police service that would best suit their community .This enables the community to accessing funding under the program.

The development of a policing needs assessment would enable the community to be better informed about their policing needs and would enable them to make an informed decision on the direction they want to go with a policing model that is conducive to the community's unique needs.
