Description:
This project is a joint New Brunswick/Prince Edward Island Ground Search and Rescue Associations initiative focused on the recruitment, retention, and training of Ground Search and Rescue volunteers to expand the Search and Rescue capacity in both provinces. Training will be provided to Ground Search and Rescue volunteers, along with mock exercises to reinforce the training.

The outcome of this project is to provide enhanced abilities and capabilities to each of the Ground Search and Rescue teams in both provinces, as well as improve response time and increase the successful outcomes of future Search and Rescue incidents.
