Description:
The Government of Northwest Territories will provide funding to all eligible communities to establish and maintain Community Consultative Groups (CCG) boards. The outcome of the project is to have functioning CCG boards which will increase engagement between Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and communities and establish Letters of Expectation for the RCMP.

Indigenous communities have access to this funding:
- Community Consultative Groups (CCG) in eligible communities established and operating.

Funded policing services are responsive to the needs and cultures of the First Nation and Inuit communities they serve:
- Increase in engagement with Public Safety Canada, Government of Northwest Territories communities.
- The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and CCGs will identify priority community policing needs that will form the Letter of Expectation to ensure future policing services delivered are respectful to their cultures.

People living in First Nation and Inuit communities feel safe:
- The RCMP will be responsive to the needs and cultures of communities through discussions and collaboration on establishing Letters of Expectations with CCG Boards to support community safety.
