Description:

The project will fund the construction of a new Satellite Police Service Facility for Tsuut’ina Nation. The facility will improve the delivery of professional, dedicated and responsive policing services for the western portion of the Tsuut’ina Nation lands.

Expected Results:

Funded First Nation and Inuit policing infrastructure projects address the highest risks to human life:
- The construction of a Satellite Police Service Facility will allow Tsuut’ina Nation Police Service (TNPS) to provide effective policing services to the western side of the Tsuut’ina Nation lands.
- This facility will improve police service response times and allow barrier-free services to western Nation residents.
- Officer safety will improve by reducing the time and distance for officer back up and emergency driving for long distances.

Funded facilities support First Nation and Inuit Police service delivery:
- The new Tsuut’ina Nation Police Service - Satellite Police Service Facility will provide a safe and healthy workplace which will contribute to professional, dedicated and responsive police services.
