Expected Results:

Funded First Nation and Inuit policing infrastructure projects address the highest risks to human life:
- The detachment expansion will allow Lakeshore Regional Police Service (LRPS) to provide effective policing services to the five First Nation communities of Lesser Slave Lake Indian Regional Council (LSLIRC) by increasing the operational and administrative space in their existing building to fit current needs.
- The addition will ensure the operability and effectiveness of the LRPS as well as address all labour codes and health and safety standards.

Funded facilities support First Nation and Inuit Police service delivery:
- The addition to the existing Lakeshore Regional Police Service building will provide a safe and healthy workplace which will contribute to providing professional, dedicated and responsive police services.
