Description:
Team Rubicon will mobilize in response to Newfoundland and Labrador's request for federal assistance regarding the wildfire situation, to provide humanitarian support and incident management in Newfoundland. The goal is to augment current Emergency Operations Centre staff and conduct Hasty Damage Assessments to support recovery planning within the municipality.

Expected Results:
The expected outcome of this project is to provide direct assistance to local emergency operations and leverage Team Rubicon's core capabilities to reduce strain on local response systems, as well as to provide fire damage awareness and reduce the risk of flare-ups in affected areas. Additionally, Team Rubicon will directly contribute to building and delivering a whole-of-community approach.
