PLEA will also offer email and phone support to users of this information, enabling the organization to meet their needs by answering questions and providing clarification or additional details as required.

The project’s immediate outcomes focus on increasing awareness and understanding of Red Flag laws by creating and distributing clear, plain-language resources for the public, service providers, and at-risk individuals. Intermediate outcomes include strengthening public education and confidence in Canada’s criminal justice and emergency systems by helping individuals understand what protections exist and how to access them. Ultimately, the project contributes to a safer, more secure, and resilient Canada by empowering individuals and frontline organizations with accessible legal education on Red Flag laws, fostering early intervention and reducing harm.
