Expected Results:

The expected outcomes of this are to increase the of individual responsibility for safety through prevention education, exchanging and sharing best practices, policies and protocols across jurisdictions, standardize procedures and protocols in key areas such as training, inventory management and reporting requirement to provide interoperability and portability of volunteer resources, awareness and outreach about Search and Rescue (SAR) incidents, how to alert the SAR System and survival tips will change behavior of the general public before and during SAR incidents leading to increased survivability.
