The purpose of this contribution will support three workstreams that advance the Christchurch Call to Action on eliminating terrorist and violent extremist content (TVEC) online.

Expected Results:

First, Christchurch Call Foundation (CCF) will pilot interventions designed to support mitigating terrorist and violent extremist content (TVEC) risks in new technology sectors. Second, through a partnership with Robust Open Online Safety Tools (ROOST) the project will support the development of open-source safety tools designed to mitigate TVEC risk, particularly for smaller platforms and companies. Third, by engaging its multi-stakeholder community, CCF will support broader adoption of interventions, tools, and best practices developed throughout the project that advance the goal of eliminating TVEC online.
