Description:
Battered Women’s Shelter Society (BWSS) will provide plain‑language, trauma‑informed legal training on red flag laws—covering eligibility, the application process, and the protections in place for individuals who submit an application—in order to ensure that communities most at risk of firearm‑related harm have access to clear, accessible, and survivor‑centred legal information and support. Achieving these objectives will contribute to a safer and more resilient Canada.
