Description:
The purpose of this contribution will supports Indigenous youth and those at risk of violence (ages 12–19) by fostering mental health, resilience, and belonging. Targeting marginalized youth who may face trauma and lack support, the initiative uses the Developmental Relationship framework to replicate one-to-one mentoring benefits in a group setting. Activities include group mentoring, youth-led goal setting, skills development, mindfulness, and community engagement, delivered in two annual sessions with 8–10 participants each.
