Expected Results:

Short-Term Expected Results: The City of Colwood will have funding for prevention and
intervention initiatives to address and respond to gun and gang violence:
Following successful completion of the developmental phase of this BSCF project, the City of Colwood will implement a three-year prevention/intervention plan to address risk and protective factors among at-risk youth in Colwood.

Medium-Term Expected Results: The City of Colwood will implement informed prevention and
intervention initiatives to respond to gun and gang violence:
Through new partnerships with community organizations and service providers across multiple sectors, the City of Colwood will coordinate the planning and delivery of prevention/intervention programs and activities to address identified risk factors.

Long-Term Expected Results: The City of Colwood will be equipped to address gun and gang
violence through intervention and prevention initiatives:
A sustainability plan will be developed to ensure that prevention/intervention initiatives can continue beyond the expiration of the agreement.
