Description:
The Province of Newfoundland and Labrador will provide funding to all eligible Community Tripartite Agreement (CTA) holders to establish and maintain Community Consultative Groups (CCGs) boards. The outcome of the project is to have functioning CCG boards which will increase engagement between the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and communities and establish Letters of Expectation for the RCMP.

Strong relationships and trust between Inuit communities, other police agencies, and the ), as well as a reduction in the gap between police-reported crime amongst Newfoundland and Labrador Inuit communities will be the result of increased collaboration and engagement between Community Consultative Groups (CCG) boards, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and other police agencies on community policing needs.
