This project is for Community Safety Officers to contribute to proactive, sustainable, trauma-informed, holistic approach to community safety and bridge the gap between community safety needs and the role of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

The project supports the community of Fort Liard in improving policing and safety outcomes by providing increased engagement and improved relationships between community members and the Community Safety Officers (CSOs) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), an increase in community crime prevention and safety initiatives and a decrease in RCMP calls for services and prisoner counts.
