The Integrated Intermodel Intelligence Fusion Centre is a provincial/national-level law enforcement intelligence centre staffed by interagency partners, who collaborate to support municipal/provincial/national law enforcement and public safety stakeholders through the timely provision of supports, analysis, and dissemination of intelligence on criminal threats related to commercial trucking, rail, air and sea—those criminal organizations are responsible for illegal activities within the intermodal hubs of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
Organization:
Public Safety Canada
Expected Results:

This project will enhance collaboration among law enforcement agencies in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area by strengthening intelligence sharing and coordinating enforcement efforts to combat organized crime within intermodal hubs. Through a centralized and strategic approach, it will support joint operations targeting illegal activities, including organized drug trafficking, fentanyl, and other transnational criminal enterprises. Ultimately, the project will establish a dedicated intelligence centre that will improve information sharing, enable coordinated responses across jurisdictions, and more effectively disrupt serious and organized crime at the regional, national, and international levels.
