The G7 is a designated major international event and as such is eligible for financial assistance under the Major International Events Security Cost Framework. The purpose of this contribution agreement is for Canada to reimburse the Toronto Police Services Board (TPSB) for eligible, incremental security costs, admissible under the contribution agreement and incurred by the TPSB to support the RCMP in its delivery of security for the G7 Toronto Ministerial.
