To support a strengthened drug-impaired driving regime in Canada, the Federal Government has identified new funding, over five years, to: increase Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) and refresher SFST training; increase Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) training; enhance law enforcement trainer and data collection capacity; and for the procurement of approved drug screening equipment.
