The purpose of the contribution is to provide funding to integrate the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Roundtable and CRHNet’s Symposium in order to provide greater alignment in regards to stakeholder engagement, enhanced participation, and increased efficiency in knowledge sharing to foster resilience.

One-day DRR event during the Summit on disaster resilience in Montreal, June 2020; A report summarizing proceedings from the DRR Roundtable to be posted to the CRHNet website; Launch initiative to highlight resilience projects in Canada; Collect inventory of submitted resilience projects; An award of recognition for a resiliency project to be presented at Symposium event; Create an initiative that will foster and empower community action by showcasing all aspects of resiliency, and showing how it’s different from a variety of perspectives; - Increase access to DRR knowledge, activities and best practices beyond the DRR Roundtable discussions and one-day event.
