Description:
The purpose of the Project is to combat child sexual exploitation in Ontario through a coordinated multi-agency approach to investigate internet child exploitation leading to increased charges and prosecutions, and reduced victimization of children.

Expected Results:

Decrease the time required to complete forensic examination of seized devices; prevention and disruption of continued victimization of children; increase in number of: Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) victims identified, ICE charges laid, persons charged with ICE offences, ICE investigations completed; identified child victims; decrease reactive mode of ICE units in province; increased and enhanced capacity of ICE investigative teams across Ontario; increased skills and abilities of undercover operations on the Dark Web resulting in infiltration of organized groups.
