Description:
The purpose of this contribution is based on qualitative (focus group) research involving 20 youth and 20 teachers, the project will develop an intervention program comprised of training materials and classroom resources including a multimedia platform and lesson plans for teachers. The project will focus on countering factors that inhibit youth from taking action and targeting those that make them more likely to intervene.

Expected Results:
Decreased incidence of hate speech and reduced perception of these attitudes and behaviours as normative. Due to the interconnections between online and offline culture, this will result in lower incidences of hate speech offline.
