The purpose of this agreement is to prevent radicalization to violence in the province of Alberta through a holistic, multi-sector, inter-disciplinary and innovative intervention model. From an evidence-driven perspective, the OPV will develop individual and familial-level intervention strategies.

Expected Results:

Identify current and emerging CRV issues, research and programing gaps. It also aims to identify best practices, identify if gaps/needs/priorities have applied initiatives, ensure partners are prepared to contribute to identified CRV issues, and that CRV policy and program activities are informed/supported by relevant funded initiatives.
