Description:
The purpose of the project is to improved access to GSAR-specific training opportunities and train mentorship to members across the territory during 2019-20. The objectives of the project are to : i) engage membership and partners in developing a training strategy for YSAR members and ii) hold skills clinics and workshops across Yukon in 2019-20. The Strategy is to include definition of : core competencies, approaches to help YSAR members achieve the competencies, and sustainability/continuous improvement of the training model. The clinics & workshops will help build local GSAR trainer and searcher capacity and foster alliances across the YSAR membership.
