Program Purpose:
This project will identify rope rescue innovations that have developed since the 1990s and assess them for applicability to the BC SAR program. It will select the most applicable set of techniques and a preferred delivery model and develop a new curriculum, instructional materials and provide training and instructor certification so that delivery of the updated curriculum can commence immediately upon conclusion of the project.
