Grant / Contribution - Heavy Urban Search and Rescue Program (HUSAR)
Program Purpose:
The overall objective of the program is to support Canada's Heavy Urban Search and Resuce (HUSAR) capacity by strengthening the abilities of six HUSAR Task Forces across Canada.
The project identifies the addition, upgrading and life cycling of vehicles and equipment which are a priority for CANTF2 to ensure the ability and capacity to respond to disasters. Training remains a critical aspect to ensure preparedness to respond to any disaster and as volunteer members with diverse backgrounds continue to join CANTF2.
