Grant / Contribution - Heavy Urban Search and Rescue Program (HUSAR)
Program Purpose:
The overall objective of the program is to support Canada's Heavy Urban Search and Resuce (HUSAR) capacity by strengthening the abilities of six HUSAR Task Forces across Canada.
The project seeks to restore and strengthen the ability to respond to disasters, including life cycle replacement of several elements including shelters, medical cache, vehicles, communication equipment, and travel to meetings, conference and exercises involving other national HUSAR teams to ensure continuity of operations.
