The projects address: hazard, impact, vulnerability and assessments; flood mapping and forecasting; public awareness and education; small-scale structural flood mitigation measures; construction of new permanent structural materials designed to mitigate the impacts of flooding; improvements or modernization of existing permanent structural measures; and the purchase of equipment used to undertake mitigation and/or support the implementation of permanent structural mitigation measures.
