Description:

The project, entitled "FOCUS", stands for Train, Empower, Collaborate and Unify Support for victims and survivors of trafficking for the purposes of sexual exploitation in order to support them in their efforts to regain power over their lives. This project will target adolescent girls and women who are generally the most vulnerable in the sex industry, especially those who are recruited by pimps into human trafficking networks. It aims to adapt, apply and evaluate effective tools for the empowerment of this target clientele.

Expected Results:

-Five service agreements or service continuum protocols for victims and survivors of trafficking for the purposes of sexual exploitation will be created between the project partners.
- Increased understanding of the issues related to trafficking for the purposes of sexual exploitation among stakeholders and decision-makers, so that the impact of the project can guide the direction of social policies.
