Stream 1 – Risk Assessments: 14 Projects, $2,627,777.00; Stream 2 – Flood Mapping: 23 Projects, $3,971,650.54; Stream 3 – Mitigation Planning: 5 Projects, $1,154,674.33; and, Stream 4b – Non-structural: 4 Projects, $649,000.00. All projects have as objective to increase the resiliency of communities at risk from flooding events. Projects may be conducted at the Provincial level, or the community level through further distribution of funds. Ultimate recipients of further distribution will be clearly indicated in the funding agreement.

Expected Results:

Immediate: Deliver products in the areas of risk assessment, mapping, and mitigation planning to inform future work at the P/T/M government level to reduce the risks associated with flood events. Intermediate outcome: There is an increase in available information relative to flood risk and increase in the number of measures put in place by P/T/M governments to increase resilience. Long Term: The impacts of flood events are reduced.
