Description:
The objective is to have all members attend a 48 hour Rescue 1 Structural Collapse course and eventually a 48 hour Rescue 2 course to be compliant with the mandate. Structural Collapse Training will allow members to be successful in certification in Structural Collapse Rescue1/2 as per NFPA 1006-2013 Technical Rescue Professional Qualifications Proboard/IFSAC.

Structural Collapse Proboard/IFSAC Certification of team members will ensure Agencies/INSARAG that team members have met a recognized standard. The Program also aims to develop HUSAR capacity and capability in the underserved regions of Montreal (Quebec) and Halifax (Nova Scotia).
