Description:
The Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) will introduce the COPA Safety Academy (CSA), Canada’s first Search and Rescue (SAR) eLearning platform dedicated to recreational operators. The CSA, will house, deliver and track the effectiveness of its SAR training, benefiting the SAR community with insight into pilot knowledge levels and learning behaviours.

The COPA Flight Safety Foundation will develop SAR Prevention Training Modules which will include 24 Presentations, 6 Video Case Studies and 6 E-Books amongst other learning material. Additionally, the CSA will produce two SAR courses specifically intended for recurrent training for pilots.
