Description:
This project is an extension of a previous project with the same name. The goal is to establish a national research consortium on post-traumatic stress injury and highlighting other resources and research that are relevant to public safety personnel, their leaders, and their families. This will act as a way for a Knowledge Mobilization/Translation strategy. This strategy includes inclusive knowledge exchange, knowledge transfer, and effective communication processes. This project will also continue to optimize the Public Safety Personnel Network (PSPNET), an internet-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy pilot. This therapy will used support personnel with symptoms of a mental health disorder, or who may or be susceptible to mental health challenges given their work.

Expected Results:
The expected outcomes of this project include building partnerships with key collaborators, academics public safety personnel and their families to continue to build the hub of knowledge; establish and track the process of a tactical plan for the Knowledge Translation and Mobilization strategy; develop a robust interdisciplinary academic network and improve the capacity, functionality and operability of the Public Safety Personnel Network (PSPNET) pilot.
