The Empowering Against Exploitation (EAE) program operates in schools, group homes, shelters, community centers, justice sites, and agencies, etc. It focuses on understanding and avoiding recruitment and grooming tactics, but also addresses substance abuse, sexual and emotional health, online safety, examines vulnerabilities, builds self-esteem, and connects girls with resources and how and where to find help for self and others. Co-written and directly informed by survivors.

Expected Results:
The expected outcome of this project includes expanding understanding on how pimps recruit/manipulate, understand the resources available in the community and how to get help, and a greater understanding of the factors that lead to vulnerability. Additionally, participants will know their boundaries and have an increased respect for self and also show/report an increase in healthy relationships. Overall, participants will demonstrate an increased self-confidence and leadership skills.
