The Anishinabek Police Service will provide dedicated policing services to the Indigenous communities. Through this agreement, Indigenous communities will have access to dedicated and professional policing services that are responsive to the needs and cultures of the Indigenous communities they serve, while reducing the gap between police reported crime in Indigenous communities and the rest of Canada.
