Description:

Through both City run and community partner funded programs, the City will implement informed prevention and intervention initiatives to respond to gun and gang violence and be equipped to address gun and gang violence through intervention and prevention initiatives with a percentage of recipients that indicate prevention and intervention activities will be sustained at the end of the Building Safer Communities Fund (BSCF) funding.

- Identified municipalities and Indigenous communities implement informed prevention and intervention initiatives to respond to gun and gang violence: Identify root causes of youth crime

Long-Term Outcomes:
- Identified municipalities and Indigenous communities are equipped to address gun and gang violence through intervention and prevention initiatives: Sustainability plan will be built into the seven priorities that will be solicited for proposal.
