This project supports Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte (MBQ)'s policing transition from an Ontario First Nations Policing Agreement (OFNPA) model to a First Nation police service by supporting some of the transitional costs of a First Nations police service. This project contributes to improved policing and community safety outcomes in First Nations communities, in response to their unique needs and priorities.
