Description:
The project will ensure greater access to essential provisions and resources necessary to Manitoba First Nations Police Service (MFNPS) and its officers to perform their duties safely and effectively, ultimately resulting in professional, dedicated, and culturally responsive policing services. This project will provide MFNPS the support to purchase policing equipment supplies, Information Technology (IT) communication equipment and the repair and renovation of facilities. This will support improved safety conditions for detachment occupants, and police services that are professional, dedicated, and culturally responsive.

This funding will support the necessary IT communications, equipment and infrastructure repairs costs that are required to deliver the culturally responsive policing services that the Manitoba First Nation Police Service (MFNPS) and its officers are able to support their commitment outlined in MFNPS’s values and mission statements to ensure safer communities in which they serve.
