Description:
Elsipogtog First Nation will implement a multi-year prevention/intervention plan to address risk and protective factors among at-risk youth and community members. This will result in the recipient being better equipped to address gun and gang violence through sustained programming moving forward.

Short-term expected results: Identified municipalities and Indigenous communities have funding for prevention and intervention initiatives to address and respond to gun and gang violence; 
- Recipient obtains funding for prevention and intervention initiatives to address and respond to gun and gang violence in Elsipogtog First Nation.

Medium-term expected results: Identified municipalities and Indigenous communities implement informed prevention and intervention initiatives to respond to gun and gang violence;
- Better awareness and intake of community services;
- Vulnerable youth and community members attend and complete wellness and life skills programming; and,
- Support community Elders through safety and wellness visits.

Long-term expected result: Identified municipalities and Indigenous communities are equipped to address gun and gang violence through intervention and prevention initiatives;
- Decrease in percentage of youth and community members involved in gun and gang violence, according front line worker data;
- Increase in sustained prevention, early intervention and intervention activities.
