Description:
The purpose of the contribution is to provide funding to reduce youth violence in Indigenous communities with a focus on the prevention of sexual assault incidents within the Indigenous juvenile population in Central Alberta. By expanding educational resources and training programs in the school system for sexual assault awareness, specific program capacity for serving Indigenous children who are at risk toward delinquent behaviours of a sexual nature will be developed.

Using a multi-systemic approach, individual, family and group therapy interventions will lower the risk of recidivism of sexual assault incidents within the juvenile population and will provide services to the family and support systems for the youth.
