Description:
The purpose of the contribution is to provide funding to implement the project which will use the Strengthening Families Program (SFP) to reduce problem behaviours, delinquency and alcohol and drug abuse in children and youth and to improve social competencies and school performance.

Reduction in the following risk factors: tobacco, alcohol, drug initiation and use, antisocial behaviours , family dysfunction, aggressive behaviours; Improvement in the following protective factors: increase social and life skills, improve parent-child relationship and family cohesion, improve parenting skills; Implement a Performance Monitoring and Assessment (PMA) plan to continuously and systematically collect, process and analyze data to: monitor the implementation of the SFP, ensure high fidelity of the program is maintained, track key results indicative of whether the model works in this community.
