Description:

Phase 2 of this project will allow the recipient the opportunity to complete all of the activities identified in the original project. Provide necessary training for the local HUB committees in Maskwacis to respond to crisis within the four nations of the Maskwacis Cree. The goals of the training and project are to promote coordinated strategies for improved service delivery for youth; increase the capacity of service delivery staff and build capacity, develop tools and best practices.

Expected Results:

Phase 2 of this project will achieve the following expected results: Increased/improved communication between community hubs; Increased community resilience and better developed strategies to address community wellness; Improved broader community engagement with activities and knowledge transfer; Strategies developed to address service gaps and communication protocols will be put into practice to ensure more efficient service delivery; Improved access to community services, resources and systems of support; Stronger connections built between community members and both formal and informal supports; Increased level of community participation as community member’s support the Community Safety Plans; and increased horizontal interagency collaboration amongst community programs, leadership, regional agencies and the 4 Hub groups.
