Description:
The National Associations Active in Criminal Justice (NAACJ) will collect and analyze information and experiences from NAACJ members on the challenges and promising practices regarding services and programming to clients during COVID19. Circumstances allowing, NAACJ will organize an in-person conference to be held in March to allow NAACJ and its members to share highlights, lessons learned and key findings from the voluntary sector.

The expected outcomes for this project include the following:
Immediate Outcome: Increased knowledge and understanding about innovative approaches, lessons learned and promising practices.
Intermediate Outcome: Education, awareness and confidence in the criminal justice system, and in the federal government’s capacity to respond to voluntary sector needs during an emergency /pandemic.
Ultimate Outcome: Safer, more secure and resilient communities across the country.
