Program Purpose:

The purpose of this project is to expand the “wear your lifejacket” message campaign to bring critical information and resources direct to the residents in 20 communities across northern Ontario. It will do this by developing and delivering, while working with the Canadian Rangers, a comprehensive, culturally sensitive educational program. The program will include components such as: cold water awareness, re-boarding, lifejacket availability, Lifejacket Owner program and a Pleasure Craft Operator Card program.
