Expected Results:

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the one opportunity the Association has each year to meet together as a group and to discuss programs and priorities for the year ahead. The Divisions membership
volunteer their time and reach out to communities and engage in support in a variety worthwhile formats such as youth at risk, assisting the less fortunate and disadvantaged, outreach and support of elderly and ill persons and the homeless. The membership also invest countless volunteer hours to work on behalf of our Veterans by endeavoring to ensure their
concerns and needs are articulated for the greater good and expressed in one, well‐articulated voice to government.

Program Purpose:

Funds will be used to help cover the costs of the RCMP Veterans' Association Annual General Meeting. There are 30 Divisions from coast to coast to coast with over 7000 members and associate members. The Divisions reach out to communities and engage in support in a variety worthwhile formats such as youth at risk, assisting the disadvantaged, supporting the ill and the homeless. They also work on behalf of Veterans by endeavoring to ensure their concerns and needs are articulated for the greater good and expressed in one, well-articulated voice to government.
