Program Purpose:
This 36-month project seeks to contribute to women's democratic participation by developing and implementing a national strategy to increase women’s participation (to over 30%) in municipal government across Canada. In collaboration with partners, the project will put into place practical and accessible supports for women in municipal government, i.e. childcare and accessible transportation, to attain greater gender parity.
