The Public Policy Forum hosted on October 13, 2020, a virtual lecture which highlighted key elements of the Public Policy Forum's Public Service Innovation and Leadership During COVID-19 project, specifically for work accomplished by the public sector across Canada in supporting citizens, businesses, non-profit organizations, Indigenous communities and municipalities in these unprecedented times.

Expected Results:

The expected results of this project are as follows:

  1. Allow for dialogue among many sectors about the value of public service and the challenges it faces;
  2. Bring together a diverse cross-section of professionals representing different levels of experience, age, groups, background and interests;
  3. Explore the conclusions and recommendations of the broad base of public service-related work of the Recipient, including key issues such as crisis management, public finance and public service innovation; and,
  4. Recognise distinguished experts in public administration management.
