Develop capacity within Indigenous communities to understand and use marine information help prevent shipboard incidents and deal with emergencies and ensure knowledge of relevant marine safety equipment. Improve marine safety of individuals on the water and mitigate the impacts of an incident using appropriate personal protective equipment. Improve safe navigation practices to prevent dangerous interactions between large and small vessels.
